Family Room

Each family bedroom is equipped with a set of bunk beds which will sleep two children and a queen size bed for parents. An extra bed or a cot will comfortably fit in our family bedrooms if required giving a maximum capacity of 2 adults and 3 children. Up to 2 children Under 10 stay Free when sharing with 2 Adults. Full Irish Breakfast is included for each Adult, Children pay €5 for Breakfast. Babysitting is available by contacting the County Arms Hotel directly and Kids club runs during the school holidays including mid-term, easter and selected weeks during july and august. DVD players are available for hire and the Hotel reception offers a range of movies for all ages. Presidential Suites

The Suites at the County Arms Hotel are among the finest Hotel Presidential Suites in Ireland. The Patrick White Suite overlooks St Brendan’s Park, scene of the first All Ireland Hurling Final in April 1888, refereed by Patrick White! The Michael Loughnane suite also overlooks St Brendan Park and the gardens of the County Arms Hotel. Each suite is 1,900 sq ft in area, including a separate living room with dining table and chairs, mahogany writing desk, complimentary mineral bar, comfortable sofas and floor to ceiling Georgian windows. The bedroom is either a king sleigh bed with beautiful views over the pretty gardens or the decadent four poster. Bedrooms include plasma TV, dressing table, floor to ceiling Georgian windows. Huge bathrooms offer a sit down shower with steam room, radio and mood lighting. Separate baths are either the double Jacuzzi, the ultimate bathing experience, or the traditional free standing bath. Each Suite includes a guest toilet for all the visitors you’re likely to have! Our suites are definitely a once off treat for a special occasion. Suitable for up to 2 Adults and 2 children. Wheelchair Accessible

The County Arms Hotel was one of the first Hotels in the midlands region of Ireland to insist on wheelchair accessible bedrooms and we now boast seven wheelchair accessible bedrooms. These bedrooms enjoy all the facilities you would expect in our other 4* Bedrooms along with wheel in showers for guests of reduced mobility who are either accompanied or unaccompanied. Whilst these bedrooms comply with Validated Accessible Scheme level 4, we are still waiting to receive this accreditation from tourist accommodation management services. All our wheelchair accessible bedrooms are on the ground floor, however the County Arms Hotel is fully wheelchair accessible via lift.
